The Lady Gowrie Child Centre (Adelaide) was established in 1940 as a demonstration and model child centre. Now known as Gowrie SA, we remain committed to innovation in children's services.

Gowrie SA is a dynamic, community based organisation leading the development of innovative and responsive services for children and families and building leadership capacity in the wider community
We provide child care and kindergarten programs with an emphasis on wellbeing, partnerships and developing a community of learners for children, families and educators.
Through our training, resource and advisory programs we use our practical experience to assist children's services to achieve continuous improvement. We demonstrate and encourage reflective and research-based practice, and assist staff to gain skills and qualifications. In all aspects of work we seek to establish professional partnerships with organisations in the broader community.
